NEWS!
March 2007 -We have now teamed up with Vet Assist, a reputable London Animal Ambulance and Transport Service. Vet Assist have a fantastic reputation as a dedicated and professional service, with years of experience in helping domestic and wild animals. Together both Pets2Vets and Vet Assist will be able to cover a larger geographical area, have more 'man-power' and reach more animals in need. You can find Vet Assist at: http://veterinaryassist.org.uk/ . If you live in the London area Steve at Vet Assist can be reached on: 07961952379. NEW- Pets2Vets is now a 24hr open line, whereas previous calls after 7pm had to come from Vets or emergency services, we have now opened our telephone line 24hrs a day! We are also now able to carry human passengers with thier pets, more so than previously. Our new services mean more animals can be treated, quicker, better and more efficiently.
November 2007 - The launch of Pets2Vets Southern this November has been an exciting time for us! We have had a makeover on our ambulance, been on the radio and featured in several newspapers, including the Surrey Advertiser and the Ash & Farnham Mail. We have a potential hour long radio interview coming up on the BBC and may make the Christmas TV news. All very exciting as the coverage helps to raise the awareness of our company, therefore helps so many more animals! Best of all though is the news that we have raised enough funds to buy a second ambulance, a Citroen Berlingo. So we should be whizzing up and down the South of England in our lovely new van in the New Year. This ambulance is large enough to carry a deer, and has several compartments for our wildlife pick-ups. There is also more room for a bigger oxygen cylinder and once the van is licenced it will be fitted with strobe lights and sirens. We are still on the hunt for another vet nurse to join us part-time at Pets2Vets, and another part-time walker for the Guildford and Woking area of K9 Playtime. Maybe there is someone out there who wants to do both? Keep an eye for us in the local papers as we try to drum up more awareness for our services: more awareness means less animals suffering! To all the kind people who have helped us get this far, THANK YOU. We really appreciate your help and kindness. Have a wonderful Christmas, and great 2008!
